How it works
Our holistic program delivers real results — helping you to lose weight and jump start your fitness journey — by focusing on three key areas:
3 weekly boot camp style classes coached by experienced fitness professionals. Easy, varied movements that can be scaled to match your skill level.
Personalized nutrition consultations and support so that you learn how to fuel your body without feeling deprived.
Access to a supportive community of like-minded people who will encourage and help motivate you throughout the program (and hopefully beyond!).
NEXT SESSION STARTS:
covers 6 weeks of fitness classes and nutrition support, and we’ll throw in the motivation, accountability and FUN for free. Build friendships and muscles on your way to a healthier you!

After searching for a gym for months, I finally found Lion's Roar. Coaches and facility are great! The members are also very welcoming. I am happy to have found my CrossFit family!
Coach and owner James Page (who prefers to be addressed by the nickname I gave him, The Machine) is one of many professional, patient and knowledgeable coaches at Lion's Roar. I walked in the door with zero lifting or CrossFit experience, but each coach worked with me to learn the basics of each lift and to ensure that my form was good from the start. I also have a previous history with a couple injuries, but each coach modified or scaled workouts to fit my individual needs. In addition to the excellent coaches, the community at Lion's Roar is very special. I am pretty husky and don't have a lot of experience in a gym environment, but from my first workout to the last, the other members kept me motivated and gave me a lot of positive encouragement. In all honesty, you're not going to find a better environment, or better people to work with to meet your fitness goals - whatever they may be.
Love lions roar crossfit!!! The coaches have been very helpful on technique and encouragement to push harder. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is just starting or is a experienced athlete.
Recently joined this facility after a thorough search of several competing gyms. Head Coach and owner James Page stood out from the get go with him responsiveness and willingness to answer all of the questions I had. They keep class sizes small and their seems to be a high level of accountability. The members were helpful and welcoming! I would highly recommend this facility!
OMG, what a cool box! I loved the workout, the community and the location. The equipment was excellent as well. It adjoins some cool start ups and is convenient from any part of the city. If you go, eat some tacos next door after drinking a few beverages at Birds Fly South Project. You will not be disappointed!
Great coaching, great programming and fantastic facility. The community was fun and engaging. We loved the area of Greenville it is in as well. It's in a cool, trendy warehouse complex with microbrewery, yoga studios, taco shops and more! We had a great workout and will definitely be back!

I switched to Lion’s Roar hoping to get better coaching for the olympic lifts, realizing that’s what I really enjoyed after a couple years of CrossFit at another gym. Haven’t been disappointed! James has a genuine enthusiasm for weightlifting and has helped me significantly (!!) with my technique; the community is amazing (even toward people like me who don’t partake in the CrossFit classes ;)); and LRC has oly-specific equipment that most gyms don’t. I’ve hung around the gym enough now to see that James cares sincerely about his athletes and goes out of his way to help them succeed. I also really appreciate the way he runs a class, so that everyone gets one on one coaching with cues and movements that are varied based on each athlete’s ability. Seriously, a fantastic gym - I always look forward to my workouts here!
James is really sweet, and he makes sure everyone is comfortable no matter their skill level. Lion's Roar is like a small community and I love it.

My fiance and I tried out cross fit for the first time after body building for years and after our first class and meet James we knew we found a new home..once you walk in the door you feel like family and after years and years of lifting I never gotten as good of a work out as I did here ..after our 6 week class we were said it ended so we signed up as permanent members and we love it

Best of all worlds!! James Page and Lion's Roar Crossfit has helped me achieve fitness goals in a very short time. James' emphasis on form first has prevented injury and made me comfortable with difficult movements in and outside of the gym. I have tried many forms of exercise and different fitness facilities that all had their drawbacks. This has been the most effective by far. The atmosphere and members at Lion's Roar are very encouraging. The equipment is plentiful and well-kept, and the facilities are convenient and clean. James is also brilliant lifting coach with years of enthusiastic first hand experience with the sport. Come see for yourself!

Awesome gym - perfect for anyone looking for olympic lifting and cross fit. The gym is newly renovated and beautiful, equipment is top notch and you get lots of one on one coaching. James really cares about his athletes and their success.

I'm in my 40's & haven't worked out in a very long time. I was hesitant to join an 8 week bootcamp at Lion's Roar, but some friends talked me into it. I'm proud to say I'm currently in my 8th week! Sara is wonderful & helps you work at your own level and progress at your own speed. I've done things I never thought I could do. Thanks to all the staff at Lions Roar for helping me find my muscles again! I had forgotten what it was like to be challenged & to be part of such an awesome group!
